Dr. Neera Singh, Scientist at the Division of Agricultural Chemicals, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, and a Humboldt Fellow was granted equipment subsidy to purchase an analytical balance by the Humboldt Foundation of Germany. The semi micro analytical balance has a minimum weighing capacity of 0.01 milligrams. The total value of the grant was Euros 6350 and the equipment was officially handed over to the Institute by the Science Counsellor and the Agricultural Counsellor of German Embassy, New Delhi on 13th August, 2009, in the presence of the Department Head, senior scientists and students.
